Biographies - Paul

Paul has been on the air over 20 years….all in the great state of Maine!  During his senior year in high school, he landed his first job running the control board for Maine Mariners Hockey on WSME-AM in Sanford.  Eventually, that led him to his first on-air job at WSME’s sister station, WCDQ-FM.  During his second year in college, he landed a weekend gig with WQCB in Brewer.

After graduating from the New England School of Broadcasting and Beal College, Paul packed his bags and moved to Houlton for his first full time job at WHOU-FM.  While he was there, he wore many hats.  They included hosting the morning show, Program Director, Production Director, and Music Director.

About a year later, he moved on to WHMX-FM in Lincoln.  For the majority of his stay, he hosted the morning show and wore the hat of Promotions Director.

Two years later, he found himself back in the Bangor market at WQCB.  For the next 15 years, he filled many rolls including co-host of the morning show, Production Director, and eventually Operations Manager for that station and the 4 sister stations in their cluster.  During his time at there, Paul received two CMA Nominations and one ACM Nomination for Small Market Personality of the year.

In August of 2009, Paul moved his career across the river and joined Blueberry Broadcasting as Program Director and Morning co-host of “The All New Bear”, WLKE-FM, WMCM-FM, and WBFB-FM.

Paul is an adjunct instructor at the New England School of Communications and has been part of the faculty for over 11 years.  He also DJs weddings and school dances.

Paul resides in Veazie with his wife Sherry and their two sons, Cody and Dylan.
